The 2024 Merdeka Tournament will be the 43rd edition of the tournament which is organized by Football Association of Malaysia (FAM). The tournament is scheduled to take place on September 2–10, 2024 featuring four participants.[1]
The tournament was also used for Malaysia to climb FIFA World Rankings, as to go to Pot 1 in 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
