Amethyst (real first name Amy) is an American drag performer who competed on season 15 of RuPaul's Drag Race.

Career[edit]

Amethyst is a drag performer. Charlie Grey of Queerty has described her as a "TikTok-grown comedy queen".[3] Amethyst competed on season 15 of RuPaul's Drag Race. She was eliminated following the design challenge, after placing in the bottom two three times.[4][5] She impersonated Tan Mom for the Snatch Game challenge.[6]

Personal life[edit]

Amethyst is from Bristol and West Hartford, Connecticut.[7][8][9] She had dated fellow contestant Robin Fierce prior to appearing on Drag Race.[6][10][11][12] In 2024, Amethyst came out as trans and shared her name Amy.[13]
