The Central District of Mehriz County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان مهریز) is in Yazd province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Mehriz.[3]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 43,363 in 11,855 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 44,126 people in 13,073 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 51,733 inhabitants in 15,978 households.[2]
