Dias Jirenbayev (Kazakh: Диас Джиренбаев; born 3 October 2003) is a Kazakh figure skater. He is the 2022 CS Denis Ten Memorial Challenge silver medalist and a five-time Kazakhstan senior national medalist (silver in 2020, 2021 and 2022, bronze in 2019 and 2023).[1]
Personal life
[edit]Dias Jirenbayev was born on 3 October 2003 in Taraz, Kazakhstan. His family lives in Astana, Kazakhstan. He started skating at 9 at the Astana Palace of School Children under the guidance of Vladimir Victorovich Rudi (Владимир Викторович Руди), his first coach. During his youth, Jirenbayev trained in the club "Astana Diamond Skates" with Aigul Shavaleyeeva. In 2021, when Denis Ten Academy was founded, Jirenbayev became one of the first students to train there with Sergei Voronov.[2]
