Dodgervision is an American subscription television service that operated within both California and Hawaii. The channel was established within the early 1980s, specifically by the Los Angeles Dodgers after the concept of pay television channels became an reality with the launch of HBO. The channel originally broadcast premium programming—including movies, sporting events, visual arts, dramedy, and news—over an encrypted signal via UHF television and even leased decoders to subscribing customers for sometime after its launch.[1]
