English: The unveiling of the Sharpe Civil War monument dedicated by Major General George H. Sharpe to the men of his regiment (the 120th NY Infantry) on October 17, 1896, in Kingston, NY. On the left, a tripod holds the battle flag the regiment carried during the Civil War. The statue, titled "Patriotism, Daughter of the Regiment," was unveiled in the Old Dutch churchyard.
