Completely restored in 2008 with authentic parts. What a beautiful car!
The 98 was traditionally the top of the Oldsmobile range. Not as stylish as a contemporary Cadillac De Ville (though it comes close), but it is practically the same car. The 98 continued to be redesigned and produced into the 1990s, even though the Oldsmobile brand's reputation had been way diminished by then, and the brand was phased out in 2004.
My preferred classic Oldsmobile would more likely be a workhorse - a 1970s-1980s Cutlass, which was not only the best-selling automobile of its day, but also extremely well-built and durable.
