English: Hand specimen of Alaskite (leucogranite) from the Mount Evans Batholith. It is made of pinkish potassium-feldspar and whitish-grey quartz. It is 1.44 billion years old and was taken from near the summit of Mt. Evans, Clear Creek County, west-south-west of Denver, Colorado, USA.
