English: While the desert tortoise (Gopherus agassizii) is most commonly associated with as a sand creature, it can also climb rocks and live in hills. This is a wild tortoise on a limestone hill near or at Red Rock National Conservation area near Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a closeup photograph.
