English: The so-called large Rune Fibula of Nordendorf I. Found in 1843 in an Alemannic grave field of mid 6th to late 6th century A.D. (Düwel, Klaus: Runenkunde. 4., überarbeitete und aktualisierte Auflage, Stuttgart 2008, p. 63 and Runenprojekt Kiel) near Nordendorf, Bavaria, Germany. The fibula bears a runic inscription on the back side of its head plate: (first line) logaþore wodan wigiþonar (second line) awa (l)eubwini. Photographed at the Römisches Museum, Augsburg, Germany.
Deutsch: Die sogenannte Runenfibel von Nordendorf I. Gefunden 1843 in einem alamannischen Gräberfeld mit der archäologischen Datierung Mitte bis zweite Hälfte des 6. Jahrhunderts n. Chr. (vgl. Düwel, Klaus: Runenkunde. 4., überarbeitete und aktualisierte Auflage, Stuttgart 2008, S. 63 und Runenprojekt Kiel) nahe Nordendorf, Bayern, Deutschland. Die Fibel trägt eine zweizeilige Runeninschrift auf der Rückseite der Kopfplatte: (erste Zeile) logaþore wodan wigiþonar (zweite Zeile) awa (l)eubwini.
