1. No free alternative can exist to illustrate the content of the graphic album Fun Home;
2. It is a low resolution copy of an individual panel from a graphic album;
3. It does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the graphic album in any way;
4. Copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the graphic album;
5. The image is significant: it illustrates the main characters in Fun Home, Bruce Bechdel and Alison Bechdel, and shows parental relationship and the gender role issues which are vitally important in the book;
6. The issues illustrated are discussed in the article, thus using this image to illustrate the article is considered fair use.
