English: Former National Football League player and author Josh Bidwell, speaks to Oregon National Guard Youth Challenge Program cadets during their graduation ceremony in Redmond, Ore., Dec. 14. Bidwell related to the cadets by sharing personal stories of his youth, and how he overcame his own challenges. He congratulated the cadets on their accomplishments and encouraged them to continue the positive changes after leaving the program. Program graduates receive instruction in values, self-discipline, education, and life skills necessary to succeed as productive citizens, in addition to earning a G.E.D. (Photo by Sgt.
