English: Buddhist scripture box made of Nanmu wood. Found in the white pagoda of Miaoying Temple during renovations in autumn 1978. Originally contained a gilt bronze relic box and a gold Buddha of Longevity statuette, the Chinese text of the Heart Sutra handwritten by the Qianlong Emperor, a Tibetan Byddhist text handwritten by the Qianlong Emperor, 4 gilt silver vases, 5 hada scarves, 5 bolts of brocade cloth, a set of 108 rosary beads, and a lot of incense. Qing dynasty (1644–1911). Held at the Capital Museum, Beijing.
