Summary
| Description | English: Samba collection is the result of a digital process using generative design to create furniture. The rhythm and melody of traditional Brazilian music shaped the pieces. Two different classics samba songs were chosen. From each one, we extracted parameters, as vocals, bass, treble and medium. From these data we got multiple frequencies and informations. Curves were generated, growing in real-time following the music. The final result is an organic and smooth surface, the literal visualization of Samba songs. A CNC machine sculpts the digital file in a Carrara marble cube in Italy. |
