DescriptionWhitman School of Management Building, Syracuse University.jpg
English: Whitman School of Management is a seven-level classroom and office building on the main campus of Syracuse University. Constructed in 2004, this building contains a mixture of classrooms, lecture rooms, offices, a large multi-story atrium lobby, and common areas like the Ilene and David Flaum Grand Hall. The concourse level also contains the 200-seat Lender Auditorium. Exterior facades are a contrast of brick veneer, metal panels, and glass curtain walls. There is a multi-level flat membrane roof and a large outdoor upper terrace on this building. The main east and west entry airlock doors are glass and most secondary egress and service doors are hollow metal. The Whitman School of Management totals approximately 166,237 gross square feet. Notes: The Whitman School of Management Building replaced the old School of Management Building as the home of the Whitman School of Management. It was constructed with 22 classrooms, a 200-seat auditorium, 40 team rooms, 2 computer clusters, 74 faculty offices, an investment research center and a 3-story 4000 square foot grand hall. The building included many environmentally conscious features in its roofing, heating and use of recycled materials.
