English: Zion-Mount Carmel Highway = Utah State Route 9 inside Zion National Park. The 25-mile road including an 1.1-mile tunnel was a engineering record when it was build from 1927 to 1930. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and became designated as a Historic Civil Engineering Landmark by the American Society of Civil Engineers in 2012.
