Marangani District is one of eight districts of the province Canchis in Peru.[1]

The most important river of the district is the Willkanuta which crosses the district from southeast to northwest.[3]
Ethnic groups
[edit]The people in the district are mainly indigenous citizens of Quechua descent. Quechua is the language which the majority of the population (80.81%) learnt to speak in childhood, 18.82% of the residents started speaking using the Spanish language (2007 Peru Census).[4]
