Marlin Klein (born September 17, 2002) is a German American football tight end for the Michigan Wolverines of the Big Ten Conference.
Early years
[edit]Klein grew up in Cologne, Germany and initially played soccer and basketball as a youth before turning to American football.[1] He played for the junior team of the Cologne Crocodiles.[2] Klein later transferred to Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School, a boarding school in Rabun Gap, Georgia, to play high school football in the United States.[3] He was rated a three-star recruit and committed to play college football at Michigan.[4]
College career
[edit]Klein played in two games for the Michigan Wolverines as a true freshman before redshirting the season.[5] He played in ten games and caught one pass for eight yards as a redshirt freshman as Michigan won the national championship.[6]
