NGC 3464 is a barred spiral galaxy in the constellation of Hydra, discovered 14 January 1886 by Ormond Stone.

Supernovae

Four supernovae have been observed in NGC 3464. SN 2002J (type Ic, mag. 16.8),[2] was detected 21 January 2002. SN 2002hy (type Ib, mag. 16.4)[3] was detected 12 November 2002.[4] SN 2015H (type Ia, mag. 16.9)[5] was discovered 10 February 2015.[4] SN 2019dxd (type II, mag.18.8)[6] was discovered on 24 April 2019.
