Robert "Robby" Franco (born August 23, 1993) is a Mexican-American freestyle skier. He competed for the United States of America in the 2015 FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships, and for Mexico in the 2017 championships.
He represented Mexico in the 2018 Winter Olympics.[4]
Early life
[edit]Franco was born in San Jose, California to an American mother and a Mexican father from Guadalajara.[5]
Career

[edit]He was one of several skiers hoping to make the Mexican squad for the 2018 Olympics, alongside alpinists Rodolfo Dickson, Prince Hubertus of Hohenlohe-Langenburg,[6] Sarah Schleper,[7] Sandra Hillen in snowboard.[8] He qualified for the 2018 Winter Olympics, alongside alpinists Rodolfo Dickson and Sarah Schleper, and cross-country skier Germán Madrazo.[9][10]
Career in Software Sales
[edit]After retiring following the 2018 Winter Olympics, Franco transitioned to a career in software sales. He has worked for prominent companies such as Zoom, Clevertap, and Zylo.[11][12][13]
Franco's exceptional performance at Zoom earned him a spot among the top four sales representatives in his department, allowing him to attend Zoom's Champions Circle. This prestigious, weeklong President's Club event for top performers was held at the Four Seasons Lanai.[14]
