To say the SA-80 and G36 are AR-16 derivatives implies a closer developmental connection that does not exist. They have some features in common, that is all. They are no more derivatives than the P-51 Mustang is from the Hawker Hurricane. Chwyatt (talk) 07:38, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
