Roy Thomas credited as co-creator?

[edit]

I was doing a little work on Doctor Fate, and found this template, which was already open. In the "Creators" field we find the names Gardner Fox and Roy Thomas. Excuse me, but what the hell did Roy have to do with creating Earth-Two? He wasn't even a comics pro then. Admittedly he severely (and I use that word deliberately, but that's another debate) redefined it with his 1980s series All-Star Squadron and Infinity, Inc., but that is very far removed from creating the damned thing. The article doesn't deal with this question at all. Unless someone knows that as a fan corresponding with Fox (and/or editor Julius Schwartz, who from what I've heard does deserve to be there) at the time Thomas actually had input at the outset, his name should be removed. Anybody care to comment? --Ted Watson (talk) 22:30, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

2¢... Thomas really doesn't fit as a creator here. Especially with respect to how character navboxes are being handled.
Side note... is there anything solid that can be added to the Earth-Two article to support Schwartz as co-creating the concept with Fox?

I'm pretty sure that Thomas' book The All-Star Companion says something to that effect, but I haven't seen a copy in several years and can't guarantee it. Anybody got one? --Ted Watson (talk) 20:01, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Since there has been well over a year with no dissent, and the infobox attached to the Earth-Two article credits just Fox, I am taking Thomas out here. The addition of Schwartz remains unresolved, however. --Tbrittreid (talk) 23:08, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Star-Spangled Kid AND Sylvester Pemberton

[edit]

In the "Inhabitants" list, doesn't the entry for Star-Spangled Kid cover Sylvester Pemberton, or vice versa? After all, unless the relevant Wiki-articles are highly misleading, nobody else has been the S-S Kid on Earth 2, the point here. --Tbrittreid (talk) 21:20, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

They've been combined, so I guess somebody agreed with me. --Tbrittreid (talk) 22:30, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
