Unsure of the UK criteria could be used, as they have a very high definition of what is a 'Major' station - leving only about 3 Scottish stations. I would say stations with multiple (3 or more) platforms in use? There are hundreds of two platform stations in Scotland, but far less multiple platforms. Prestick Town station yes, but the Airport station refered to in the template is owned and operated by the Airport company, see First ScotRail. 194.66.84.39 13:11, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I knew Prestwick Town was but didnt know Prestwick Airport wasn't managed by First. Will have to update that station's page. --Dreamer84 14:16, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is Stranraer really a major station? An anon IP is added it to the template, however there are probably other stations wheich are larger and busier, with more passengers and platforms which are not lists. --Stewart ^{(talk | edits)} 15:11, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
