Check out the templates of the other U.S. athletic conferences (such as {{Southeastern Conference}}). Simplicity is beauty, and too many colors are painful to the eyes (see WP:COLOR). –HTD 14:30, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's not as hideous as the earlier one, though. There should be like 3 colors, max (4 is pushing it) in a template. That has more than 8. I still have to see a template like that elsewhere on Wikipedia. –HTD 14:49, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
