[edit]

Hello. I have reverted your edit on Edward I of England in which you stated "alt text should not duplicate captions". Your edit removed alt text that did not duplicate a caption, and was in fact helpful ~ MOS:ALT might be a useful read for you as it indicates how alt text is useful and what it should consist of; in particular it seems to indicate that the presence of some alt text is desirable, but your edit left none. Can I also add my voice to the above? You removed alt text here but it is not a duplication of the caption. Celia Homeford (talk) 14:54, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I will also note that in each edit of yours i have looked at so far, you are creating other issues as you edit the alt text: There is a reason for a non-breaking space between a king's name and his number, so don't take it out, for example. Please pay attention to the community expectations and standards. Happy days, ~ LindsayHello 06:32, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for correcting me. and I take note of your advice. 2001:18C0:61E:D100:F4DA:F2CF:730:F305 (talk) 09:25, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
