Blackburn Hawks
[edit]Hi Junkie
I don't really know a great deal about the Blackburn Hawks or their history so I can't really help you on the content side of things, but I'll see what I can do elsewhere. One thing I do remember about their page is that the text was pretty much lifted straight off the Blackburn website and posted on Wikipedia which isn't really allowed. I'll have a read later and see what I can do. KimThePanther (talk) 10:53, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
- Wow I'm impressed with the article, I was gonna start by doing up the roster and season stats but you have already beat me to it! Excellent work! Keep it up. Raphie (talk) 21:10, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Hi, I'm sorry I haven't replied to you sooner but I've been quite busy lately, but better late then never right? Looks like you done a good job wikifying the article so far, I will take a closer look to see what needs to be done, until then you can read User:AndyZ/Suggestions which is a good resource for article improvement. Also you could post a message on WT:HOCKEY to get project wide attention. Happy editing! —Krm500 (Communicate!) 22:51, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:Eihalogo.gif)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Eihalogo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:50, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Hi. I decided to reply to your question here rather than at the talk page in question, mainly to avoid inviting vandalism there. While that page is subject to regular minor disruptive editing, it falls far short of requiring the protection of a lock, and a request to an admin would almost certainly be declined. The best way to discourage that kind of trouble there is vigilance, reverting quickly and following up all incidents with the appropriate 'warning' template on the offending editors Talk Page. If the page was attacked in a sustained manner, a request for temp. semi-protection could be made. Its just the nature of the subject. Political pages are even more time consuming regarding patrolling against this kind of thing. Regards. RashersTierney (talk) 09:49, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
