- It seems that links to roseta wiki are broken (at least part of them)
Uhm, where, when, and what's going on ? ;-) Taw 14:58, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
Oh, Rozeta is extremely old. It was used for images for the Polish Wikipedia before the wiki software itself had an image upload feature. They have all been moved to the Polish Wikipedia, or English Wikipedia or (later) Commons. Taw 22:03, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
PyPy on STReP
[edit]Neither PyPy article nor its external page has any mention or reference to European Commission Framework or STReP related activity. To resolve the confusion, pls add relevant text to the article. Additionally, you may like adding [[Category:FP6 Projects]] and [[Category:Research projects]] as well. --IsleScape 21:16, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
Image source problem with Image:PyPy logo.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:PyPy logo.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 09:39, 9 March 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 58.89.68.123 (talk) 09:39, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:58, 9 October 2011 (UTC)
Cape Town boundaries
[edit]Firstly, don't tell me not to revert the edits when YOU were the one that boldly went ahead and changed the data without discussion on the talk page. Secondly, those new demographics apply to Cape Town metro (City of Cape Town), which includes places such as Somerset West and Atlantis which are NOT in Cape Town. The best thing to do is put down BOTH. There is a stat for the population of the actual city of Cape Town (e.g. the 5 boroughs of NYC. 8m) and then the Metro which is like (NYC metro, 17m). The "historical" Cape Town would refer to Cape Town CBD, the actual city as Cape Town and the metro as the City of Cape Town. In SA there are metropolitan municipalities which are centred around a core city but include neighbouring towns. Cape Town is one of these and the City of Cape Town and Cape Town are not synonymous. Similarly, for example, the city of Pretoria is not the same as the City of Tshwane. Bezuidenhout (talk) 15:09, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
