Even though the Battle of Zaragosa was a French victory, General Antonio Valero de Bernabe was considered a heroe and was condecorated by the Spanish Crown for his actions in said battle. However, according to http://www.paris.org/Kiosque/aug02/history.aug.html the French armies were defeated by the Austrians in the Battle of Saragossa on August 20, 1710.

I am puzzled what battle this might be. It can't be the battle you refer at, because it was fought 100 years earlier. I will let you know if i find something.

Hello Filiep: You added this - "The ‘white’ squadron was commanded by Victor-Marie d'Estrées" to this paragraph:

"The French Admiral divided his force into the customary three squadrons – white and blue, white, and blue pennants respectively. The third Allied commander I discover from 1911 Brittanica was Ralph Delaval. This seems to verify the fact (although I don't speak dutch):

Bonjour and welcome to the first WikiProject France newsletter!! It should become a monthly special of our project, but until the next issue, here are some points to consider for the month:

• In an effort to determine the active members from the inactive, all members are asked to simply sign on my special userpage.
• I have slightly rearranged and updated the Project page, putting all the featured lists in collapsible tables. This unclutteres the page and you only have to see them if you want to. Give your feelings at the talk page.
• I have made a Wikipedia advert for our project, Image:Qxz-ad108.gif, what do you think? Personally I feel the words need improving ...
• There are still map problems at Template:French commune - any help at resolving them would be greatly appreciated.
• What about starting a monthly drive? We currently have no Featured Portals (except for the Basque Portal which really isn't French any way), so how about improving Portal:France??? I don't know what's exactly wrong but the criteria can be seen at Wikipedia:Featured portal criteria.

When creating pages on titled royals, such as Princess Maria Teresa of Savoy (just moved from Maria Teresa of Savoy), please observe WP:NC(NT). For kings and emperors, their articles are titled Name (Ordinal) of Place. Their consorts are titled Name of Place. Grand dukes, dukes and lower are titled Name (Ordinal), Title of Place. Their consorts are titled Title Name of Place. All other royals are titled Title Name of Place and holders of substantive titles are titled Title, Name of Place. • The French Portal is now a Featured Portal!!! It passed its Candidacy with 100%. Special thanks go to NYArtsnWords and all those that have made this Portal work.

Hi Filiep,

I saw your name in the history section of an article and I wonder if you can help me to find out anything about a construction company from Netherlands named Koninklijke Nederlandsche Maatschappij Voor Havenwerken. I live in the city of Mersin, South Turkey. The harbour of Mersin had been constructed by this company back in 1950s. It was an important company then and now I am searching to find out what happened to the company. I couldn’t gather anything from internet sources. Hello! I saw your edit to County of Loon and then noticed your editing pattern is one that suggests you would be interested to see that I have recently expanded the historical section of Limburg (Belgium). You might be able to add a bit more. One thing I was trying to work out is exactly how Wikipedia should explain whether there is any part of the Duchy of Limburg still in the Province of Belgian Limburg. I think I am right that Dalhem sometimes counted as part of the Duchy, and that this means Voeren comes into this category? I saw somewhere else on Wikipedia (I am not sure if it was Dutch or English) that Rekem in Lanakan was also in the Duchy but I can not confirm this. There is no article on "Bernardino de Mendoza (Captain General)". Are you intending to create one? Until there it exists, it is inappropriate to change the title of the current article. Hi Keith. I understand your point. I searched on internet but I only found [2]. For the rest you find all kind of figures, even 25.000 German casualties in 1914 British newspapers ! Both sides lied about the casualty figures for political reasons, also the Germans. I just can't believe a quarter of the WWI Belgian casualties fell during these few days. Furthermore, no large military cemeteries are to be found in the Liege area. Something you would expect with some many soldiers killed. It must be an exaggeration, but I can't prove it (yet). Don't think this article should have been renamed. Yes it was an Army of the Soviet Union. It is currently a Army in the Russian Military and should have it's current name as it's article title. We have hundreds of examples of Former Soviet units whose article name is not their historic name but the name they currently serve under. Hi. I reverted your protected edit request on Template talk:Navbar, as it clearly had nothing to do with that particular template (Template:Navbar). Your edit is for some other page which was unclear from the information provided there. I did find a couple of navigation templates which had incorrect "V T E" links on them, which took you to Navbar instead of the correct template. You may well be able to just edit the correct template, so I suggest you take another look and either discuss on the correct talk page or just make the changes you were requesting (if you know how to do it and it's not protected). --Murph9000 (talk) 13:25, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
