Ra Chapman

[edit]

Hi,

Thank you for starting the article on Australian Actor Ra Chapman, I've decided to make local Aussie actors my focus for the time being and your contribution is very helpful. I'm new to editing and learning the ropes and I'm hoping to try and create a new page of my own soon but unsure how to go about it. Pages like yours give me a good start and inspiration.

Japanese squadrons

[edit]

Hey,

Thanks for your articles on Japanese air force squadrons, your contributions are much appreciated and I have patrolled them.

If possible, expansion in both content and sources would be good but is not required.

Keep going!

Thanks,

Thanks! I would like to expand both content and references but the old disbanded squadrons in particular have very little available.

Non-notable incidents

[edit]

Hi there. Please stop adding completely non-notable incidents to airport articles. An emergency landing isn't a notable occurrence and they happen at airports all over the world for many aircraft types on a daily basis. An incident is only notable if it results in the destruction of a hull, a death or a substantial change of procedures per WP:AIRCRASH. Thank you. Canterbury Tail talk 03:01, 29 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for that. I am now aware of the procedures.--Josephus37 (talk) 23:21, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Islander 23 has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Notability of books

[edit]

Hi, I've just noticed that you've recently created a series of articles on books which lack references. Most of these look to be the types of books which attract little attention from reviewers and other sources (for instance, books in Osprey Publishing's vast series and works published by the Australian Government), so I suspect that they do not meet the criteria at Wikipedia:Notability (books) and may end up being deleted. Could you please provide references which demonstrate these books' notability? Regards, Nick-D (talk) 11:13, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Nick-D, thank you for your comment. I will check the notability guidelines and add references where possible.--Josephus37 (talk) 11:23, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve P-40 Warhawk vs Ki-43 Oscar: China 1944–45

[edit]

Hello, Josephus37,

Thank you for creating P-40 Warhawk vs Ki-43 Oscar: China 1944–45.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Thank you for your new article on "P-40 Warhawk vs Ki-43 Oscar: China 1944–45", but you must do more than simply introduce the book's existence. A Wikipedia article benefits from reliable media coverage, pro reviews, and the like. For pointers, follow the links in the notice at the top of the article. If these matters are not addressed, future editors could call for the article to be deleted.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Doomsdayer520}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 401st Tactical Airlift Squadron (JASDF), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Victoria (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, Josephus37. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "US Marine Corps and RAAF Hornet Units of Operation Iraqi Freedom".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
