Jackie Evancho
[edit]In what way is Jackie Evancho being "exploited"? And how could her sudden popularity be damaging to her voice? What do you know about her training and why do you call it "wretched"? Maybe some children who were great musicians when they were preteens simply develop different interests when they become adults. Not every 30 year old still loves to do the same things they liked to do when they were 13, even if they were great at it. If you think she will become less popular as she becomes less "cute" then I think you are not giving her enough credit for her singing talent. Even in the short amount of time that she's been known worldwide, she has already improved tremendously and there's no reason to believe that she won't continue to do so. As you said, age provides a natural accumulation of musical and personal experience. For An Angel (talk) 19:35, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
I'm sorry if I offended you
[edit]But I still don't know what I said that you consider an insult. The only insult I saw was when Ssilvers called you a 'a thoughtless, nasty fellow' I based on what you wrote on the washington post but I never agreed with him and I even defended you against him a few times. That link to amazon that you posted pointed to where I left a comment on a review to one of her products. I really don't think that one sentence qualifies as lots of evidence that I engaged in conversations all over the amazon web sites with Evancho's family. In fact those 12 words were the only time I ever posted anything on amazon that was in any way related to her and it was in praise of a review of her Bluray written by somebody not at all related to her. And when I googled, as you suggested, your name, my name and 'evancho', I found exactly one result and that was the talk page for her wiki article. I don't know what you were expecting me to find. Unless you are confusing me with someone else? Well, just in case I need to say this, Ssilvers and I are not the same person. That's pretty obvious if you just glanced through our user pages, talk pages, and contributions. If you still don't believe me then check out his talk page from a few months ago where we actually had an argument over something silly. :-P For An Angel (talk) 21:58, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
