User talk:Olle Borg
Well, welcome to English Wikipedia! The basic stuff is the way you are used to. The culture differs slightly, but the biggest difference is probably that this place is so vast there is no chance to have an overall view of what is going on... this has good sides and bad sides. Beginners are usually given some kind of "link package". The one below is based on such a package, but slightly adapted according to my taste.
- Wikipedia:Five Pillars - compilation of the most basic policy
- Wikipedia:Consensus - which maybe should be the sixth pillar
- Wikipedia:Trifecta - another complication
- Wikipedia:WikiProject Martial Arts - personally I tend to stay away from wikiprojects but the resource is there if you want it
- Help:Contents - svwiki does not have the Help namespace enabled. Here, it contains help files which belong to the software, if I have not misunderstood
- Wikipedia:Manual of Style - you'll probable see this one referred to a lot
- Wikipedia:Questions - info on where to ask questions (except for other user's talk pages of course. Feel free to contact me. I am not as well informed about enwiki as about svwiki, but somewhat decently I hope).
See you around! (or not. As i said, this place is huuuuuuge...) // habj 09:20, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks! It will take some time only to read through these links (and I don't have too much of that right now). /Olle Borg 09:24, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- Naaah, save them 'til you need them... or something. // habj 09:26, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
Hey Olle, Let's work on the Hontai Yoshin Ryu page
[edit]Hontai Yoshin-ryu Let's make this a better article. I also want to connect the content and the Hontai Yoshin Ryu perspective in the history of Kukishin ryu - meaining I want to "internal link" your/their perspective on the forming of Kukishin Ryu. What do you think??
