Re: Dinosaur Classification.

[edit]

Hey, I was thinking I'd just let you yourself add the missing dinosaurs to their family tree pages. However, if you want my help, just tell me which particular dinosaurs you want me to add. Thanks in advance. Atlantis536 (talk) 06:53, 1 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, thanks with helping on certain occasions though!OviraptorFan (talk) 11:50, 1 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Maastrichtian theropod list

[edit]

Good afternoon. I noticed in the List_of_vertebrate_fauna_of_the_Maastrichtian_stage article that you have devoted a lot of time and effort in enriching the page with theropod content. The issue is that it has now become rather extensive so I've decided to split it between (non-avialan) maniraptorans and non-maniraptoran theropods (and establishing avialans as a subcategory). I've prepared the format in my sandbox and with your consent I'm ready to implement the changes. Please contact me if you have any objections. Thanks for your good work. --Draco ignoramus sophomoricus (talk) 13:36, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sure! Go ahead! I got no problem with others working on it. OviraptorFan (talk) 01:11, 19 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for yor quick reply! Hope I won't disappoint. Have a nice day.--Draco ignoramus sophomoricus (talk) 09:04, 19 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Image review

[edit]

Hi, dinosaur restorations need to be reviewed at WP:DINOART before they can be used. Also, there is no good reason to remove photos of holotypes. FunkMonk (talk) 20:16, 10 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

More seriously, it appears the images you have uploaded do not have free licences, and have to be deleted. FunkMonk (talk) 20:28, 10 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

First part:Hmmm alright, sort of new with these, so this is understandable. Second part:I actually got permission from the owner, i can show the evidence if you want. OviraptorFan (talk) 00:05, 11 March 2019 (UTC) Nvm I showed it anyway on the dysalotosaurus image talk. OviraptorFan (talk) 00:13, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

As stated on Commons, that is not sufficient permission. FunkMonk (talk) 07:16, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Automatic taxoboxes

[edit]

Hi, if you are converting a (manual) taxobox to use {{Automatic taxobox}}, please look at its documention (follow the link to the template). All the classification – regnum, classis, etc. – is removed, and replaced by |taxon= whose value is set to the 'target' taxon. The authority for this taxon is given by just |authority=. Look, for example, at the wikitext (code) for the taxobox at Sparassodonta now. I'm always happy to help if you ask at my talk page. Peter coxhead (talk) 15:05, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, thank you for the tip.OviraptorFan (talk) 15:19, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Procolophonidae, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Coletta. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
