Hello PeteRoy, welcome to Wikipedia!

To get you up and running very quickly, here are some links that will help you get started:

The help page, for which there is always a link in the navigation menu on the left-hand side of your screen, includes links to the above pages as well as to everything else you could possibly need to know about Wikipedia and how the Wikipedia community operates.

Be sure to drop us a note at Wikipedia:New user log so we can meet you and help you get started.

Here are some things that new users sometimes have trouble with, and you will soon find these tips useful:

  • When you write messages on talk pages, be sure to sign your name. You can do this using three tildes, like [[User:Go for it!|Go for it!]]. If you use four, a datestamp is automatically added. Five provides the datestamp only.
  • Remember to check your work using the Show preview button before you save. This helps prevent mistakes (and the edits used to correct them). Thank you.
  • Here is information about what you can do with your User page.

I hope you enjoy your experience at Wikipedia and decide to stay. Sincerely, --Go for it!

Thanks for uploading Image:Morgan_med_looking_to_the_heavens_superhero_0141.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Morgan med looking to the heavens superhero 0141.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Harro5 00:46, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Solidcam, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.solidcam.com/company_fr.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 20:44, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Sentineldk for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Stalwart111 (talk) 14:30, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I am not sentinelDK, I am a friend of his and the only time I logged from his internet was when I was at his company. PeteRoy account I have from 2006, I also have a blog and a youtube channel with the same name, you are doing great evil and injustice by blocking me which could lead to some serious karma against you. PeteRoy (talk) 17:28, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

What about Mikemessa (talk · contribs)? Why would a checkuser note that there's a possible relation to that account? Until you can explain the checkuser results, I think we'll risk the wrath of the Karma Gods. Hersfold non-admin(t/a/c) 20:11, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hmm. We do have a policy about legal threats, but I don't think we have one about religious or spiritual threats... Peridon (talk) 18:30, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unblocked

[edit]

I have agreed to unblock you per your WP:UTRS request, based on the evidence available, especially given the age of your account. Please try to not edit from friends' computers or in the same topics to avoid similar accusations of sockpuppetry/meatpuppetry in the future. -- King of 22:39, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
