Imágenes
[edit]¡Hola!
¡Bienvenido! —Pablo D. Flores (Talk) 00:47, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Distance
[edit]What is the source of your change to Rosario (changing the distance to Buenos Aires from 310 to 285 km)? I've never heard any less than 300 km. —Pablo D. Flores (Talk) 22:15, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- Gracias por aclararlo. Siempre que te sea posible, mencioná de dónde salen los datos cuando vayas a cambiarlos, especialmente números, así a nadie le queda la duda. —Pablo D. Flores (Talk) 17:20, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
Invitation
[edit]Hello! Are you Argentine? If you are, our Wikipedian community is here to help you! The WikiProject Argentina is currently recruiting new members, and we will be really pleased if you join! I reverted your latest additions over there because I believe you made a mistake -- Hermes Binner was born on 5 June 1943 (BTW note the date format) and I don't think Cavallero was born in the same date. In fact I haven't been able to find anything on Cavallero regarding place and date of birth. —Pablo D. Flores (Talk) 13:05, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
Hello. Wikipedia is a encyclopedia in multiple languages, this being the English version. Please do not add content in other languages here unless it directly relates to the article; that is, the information cannot be explained in English alone. You can use interlanguage links to find the same article in a language you are more familiar with, or find the Wikipedia in that language on the master list. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. Hello
[edit]I noticed this edit to Antonio Krapovickas in my watchlist. Just so that you know, the second parameter of {{botanist}} no longer does anything, and I apologize for not updating the documentation.
Thank you for translating pages into Spanish. « D. Trebbien (talk) 23:50, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi. I noticed you added {{botanist}} with the author abbreviation Acerbi to the Giuseppe Acerbi article back in July, and I was wondering what the source was for that author abbreviation. I can't find it (or any record for Acerbi) at INPI. Do you recall what your source was? Thanks. Guettarda (talk) 19:52, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
- OK, found mention at Harvard Herbarium, both as G. Acerbi and Acerbi. [1] Guettarda (talk) 17:40, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
BD vs YOB and YOD categories
[edit]Hi. Concerning this edit of your, I would like to inform you that there is no consensus in substituting well established categories with BD. Please don't change them into BD. Thanks, Magioladitis (talk) 19:23, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
You are now a Reviewer
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:40, 19 June 2010 (UTC)

Wikimedia Stories Project
[edit]Aloha!
My name is Victor and I work with the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit organization that supports Wikipedia. We're chronicling the inspiring stories of the Wikipedia community around the world, including those from readers, editors, and donors. Stories are absolutely essential for any non-profit to persuade new people to support the cause, and we know the vast network of people who use Wikipedia have so much to share.
I find stories that drive our annual fundraising efforts. It's important to convey the incredible diversity of people who've come to rely upon Wikipedia every day.
I'd really like the opportunity to interview you to tell your story, with the possibility of using it in our materials, on our community websites, or as part of this year’s fundraiser to encourage others to support Wikipedia.
I will be in Buenos Aires from the 10th - 11th of March 2012.
I'm hoping you will elaborate on your story with me. Please let me know if you're inclined to take part in the Wikipedia Stories Project!
Thank you,
Victor Grigas

Help request for mapping section titles
[edit]Hi. We (the Research Team at Wikimedia Foundation) are building an algorithm that will align Wikipedia article sections across languages. For improving this algorithm we need the help of multilingual Wikipedia editors to provide true statements to the algorithm. You are contacted because based on your Babel template and/or content translation tool usage you know at least two of the following languages: ar (Arabic), fr (French), ja (Japanese), en (English), es (Spanish), ru (Russian).
(Note: by clicking the links in the following paragraph, you will be taken to Google spreadsheet.) If you'd like to help us with translating a subset of the section titles on or before 2018-05-15, please read and follow the instructions. If you see instructions in another language, please scroll down to find your preferred language. If you have questions about this message, you can contact us via Diego. Thank you! :) --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 15:58, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
