You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for creating this account, an obvious impersonation account. You were already on your second chance. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Your move of Ill Niño

[edit]

You're blocked but I'll remind you anyway.. I see you have used your new found ability to move pages on Ill Niño, however we do not use the lower case titles here per MOS:CAPS, Wikipedia uses standard English capitilisation for titles and proper non with few exceptions; so the I and N will have to stay, even if you do find it confusing. Rehevkor 15:53, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I told him that before with regard to the same page. I'm afraid now that he's (finally) figured out the move function, he's just going to move pages willy-nilly whether they need to be moved or not. --IllaZilla (talk) 16:06, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The hell?

[edit]

What the hell, Wooblz!? I try to help you and work with you numerous times and then you go and create IllaZilla3 (talk · contribs), a clear impersonation of/attack on me, and make up some lie about my account being hacked. Did you think I wouldn't notice when you redirected my talk page? What were you trying to accomplish? What did I ever do to you? We haven't even had an interaction in about a month. I'm totally baffled as to why you would create this weird account, which was clearly meant to either impersonate or usurp my account. Now you've gone and gotten yourself kicked off Wikipedia again. --IllaZilla (talk) 16:04, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have to trust me, it isn't me it's my annoying little 16 year old brother, he knows how much I like Wiki so he did this... sigh... yes there isn't any proof, but come one man? why would I do this to you man? just because we (my household) uses one computer. My little brother made it so he can piss me off, and obviousely it pissed you off too. I'm really sorry. Yes again there is no proof, but I just want someone to understand. I have been abused many times before it dosen't feels right. sigh... still no evidence. I really do want us to be friends. -- Thornofhate (talk) 05:52, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:My little brother did it. Rehevkor 18:56, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
sigh... alright than I know it's the oldest iscuse in the book. But that's what really did happen, my little brother did do it. But since I can't proof anything I have no choice but to own up right? Ok I'll do that, how do I do this? -- Thornofhate (talk) 06:03, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You can appeal the block, but it won't be as simple as "owning up" to get you out of this, this is not your first offence. My advice, take a break from Wikipedia altogether, think carefully how you might want to phrase an unblock request, think about whether editing Wikipedia is really something you want to do with your time. Volunteering to be subject to the standard offer may help also. In short, read "Wikipedia:Appealing a block" very carefully, choose your words carefully, and then post:
{{unblock | reason=<your reason here> ~~~~}}
At the bottom of this page, with your reasons explained. If you play your cards right, an administrator may unblock you. Rehevkor 19:13, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
So you suggest I wait? Ok I will, what's the minimum time required? also before my "break" please tell IllaZilla about this talk section. Yes I still have no proof of what has happened. But please, editting is what I really want to do. And no the whole "please tell User:IllaZilla" thing isn't to feel pitty for me, or anything like that. I just want everyone one to contribute because we all have different points of view/oppinions. -- Thornofhate (talk) 06:33, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
However long you want. Maybe a couple of weeks. Maybe less. If you want to take advantage of Wikipedia:Standard offer then the standard wait is 6 months. Rehevkor 20:37, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Another good piece of advice: If you're using a shared computer (such as in a household, office, or dorm room where several people might be using the same computer), log out when you're done editing and if someone else is likely to use the computer next. This way no one else will be able to make edits using your account (so long as you keep your password to yourself). If other members of your family wish to edit Wikipedia, encourage them to register their own accounts. You all may be sharing the same IP address (depending on how your internet access is set up), but if each person editing Wikipedia has their own unique account then it becomes much easier to tell who is responsible for which edits. --IllaZilla (talk) 08:37, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
IllaZilla & Rehevkor, you both been verry helpful to me during the wikipedia sessions. Although I would like to be unblocked as soon as possible. I really do, I love wikipedia. Yes I'm sorry for what has happened. I'm not saying this to make you feel pity of me. I'm just saying wikipedia means alot to me. I'm just a wiki newb, but love to help out as much as possible. So the whole unblocking thing is in your hands. So please I would like to go back to editing. But the decisions are in your hands. IllaZilla & Rehevkor I'm sorry for what has happened. -- thornofhate (talk) 20:19, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Neither Rehekvor or myself are administrators, so we will not be able to unblock you. As explained above, if you wish to be unblocked you need to place {{unblock | reason=<your reason here> ~~~~}} beneath the block notice above and fill in the reason. This will automatically get the attention of an admin who will review the block. --IllaZilla (talk) 16:22, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Really? you guys arn't administrators? I always thought you were? well you guys should be because you guys are so helpful. Now back to main point, before I do this what reason should I use for what has happened, because it was kind of may I say a "accident" I had no control over what had happened, than agin I do apolozise for what had happened because I have no evidence of what has happened and for not being safe on Wiki. --thornofhate (talk) 06:15, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've given you all the advice I'm able above, the rest is for you to figure out really. Rehevkor 23:27, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

One last thing, before I do this IllaZilla do you accept my apolozie? -- thornofhate (talk) 20:50, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Assuming that the business about your brother is true, then yes I accept your apology. I don't have reason to suspect malicious intent on your part. I recommend appealing the block by placing the unblock template, and as your reason explain about your brother and promise that you will log out after editing on a shared computer. --IllaZilla (talk) 14:20, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't quite what I meant when I said "read "Wikipedia:Appealing a block" very carefully, choose your words carefully" Rehevkor 19:48, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

When/if you make a more convincing request, please include a believable explanation as to how your little brother was able to access not only the family computer but also your personal account. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 22:01, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Actually I don't think the brother did anything from the Thornofhate account. If you look at the contribs, there's no obvious abuse from the account. The source of the problem was another account that was created, IllaZilla3 (talk · contribs), which was an obvious impersonation of/attack on me. When I reported it I requested that a sockpuppet check be run, to see if it was created by someone who had it out for me. I assume that it was shown to have been created by the same email or IP address belonging to Thornofhate. The brother could have created this new account from the family computer without ever having accessed Thornofhate's personal account, which to me actually seems the more likely scenario since there was no obvious abuse coming from the Thornofhate account itself. All one needs to create an account is an email address, so if another member of his household created the attack account then a sockpuppet check would likely have shown that the account shared the same IP and/or email address as Thornofhate, which could easily lead to him being blocked for something that he had no control over. I realize Thornofhate has had other editing issues, but the block is directly related to the IllaZilla3 account, which another member of his household could easily have created without ever having accessed Thornofhate's account. I don't mean to sound like a defense lawyer, but I've seen this sort of thing happen before. --IllaZilla (talk) 00:16, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
My question is - how did your little brother know IllaZilla's name or that you had a previous history with IllaZilla? TNXMan 13:28, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to hear the answer to this too. It's rather a specific attack, why would you brother go after IllaZilla of all people? Does he edit Wikipedia? He seemed familiar with markup. Sockpuppet checks don't seem to have brought up any accounts other than your own, though. An explanation here may help in assisting anyone responding to your unblock request. Rehevkor 16:14, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm curious about this as well. I can believe that another member of Thornofhate's household might start an account, but to specifically start an attack account aimed at me is rather suspicious. They'd have to be familiar with the past history between Thornofhate & myself to know to come after me. --IllaZilla (talk) 16:37, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I would like to appeal my block because I have a silly mistake. Although this isn't my first block, this would not happen again. The mistake I made was not beening safe about wiki. yes, like IllaZilla said my brother had nothing to do with this account. But he has abused IllaZilla. This has been sorted out between IllaZilla and I. Therfore this would nevwe happen again. thornofhate (talk)

Decline reason:

This request is incomprehensible. By our standard practice, any and all unblock requests involving brothers are not accepted. Also, it is not clear why your brother would make an impersonation account of an editor they kjnow nothing about.  Sandstein  21:51, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The reason how my brother knows about IllaZilla is because he used my account to see my history and seemed like me ans illazilla had been "arguing" lots and therfore he saw it as the one to attack. -- thornofhate (talk) 11:18, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Your little brother sure does seem awfully interested in your editing habits on Wikipedia. Why in the world would he so mischievously want to do such a thing? It sure does come across as an awfully large coincidence for someone with a history of harassing IllaZilla and using another screenname to do his dirty business. Please do remember that I unblocked you with an assumption of good faith editing in the future. Quite frankly, I just don't see why we should believe your brother did it when all circumstantial evidence declares otherwise. Magog the Ogre (talk) 00:59, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
well fair enough, I do not have any evidence, and I'm assuming no one believes me? (not saying it like a jerk and/or to make people feel pity. doing to make people share opinion/s.) But I will make sure this will never happen, by beeing safe. I do apologize to IllaZilla, I really do feel bad (again, not doing it to feel pity, just want to apologize). Yes everyone has the rights to doubt me because due to lack of evidence. I do admit to that I was wrong about I did. Hey what? it says I'm a sockpuppet thing with BAAguy. I don't even know who BAAguy is, it ain't me. -- thornofhate (talk) 14:50, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
So sorry to barge in on this lovely conversation. If you think that Sandstein should reconsider the request to be unblocked that he denied, I suggest that you, or, better yet, IllaZilla should personally appeal to Sandstein on his talkpage. He certainly seems to have a lot of experience on Wikipedia (given his senior status), so be sure to word correctly, use the right spelling and grammar, and don't sound desperate. With your blessing, I would be honored to do it for you. Your request seems very legitimate, and here's to hoping that you do regain the privilege of being a Wikipedian once again! Cheers! That in itself may not be enough, it's up to Thornofhate to show he can still be an asset to the project if he were to be unblocked. Rehevkor 21:28, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. I was merely voicing my non-objection in response to Cp72's above comment. --IllaZilla (talk) 22:31, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you guys lots. So we should move this talk about my block to Sandstein? How do I start this? Like what's a good statement and/or a good appeal. Request reason:

I accidently allowed my brother to use my username and he made a account called User:IllaZilla3. I know what I am apologizing for may be false (because of no evidence), but I want to be part of Wikipedia again. I would never try to undermine the integrity of it again. I meant no harm to anyone. Please check my talk page to see what is going on with my request to unblocking. If you are not convinced, please talk to User:IllaZilla and ask him. Thank you, thornofhate.

Decline reason:

A user has a brother who carefully studies his editing history, discovers the user has issues with IllaZilla, and decides to attack IllaZilla in revenge on behalf of his big brother, without the big brother's knowledge. Unfortunately, by pure coincidence, out of all the Wikipedians this could have happened to, this happens to a big brother who has a known history of abusing multiple accounts. The brother has not used the same account, but has used the same computer. However, "I accidently allowed my brother to use my username" - not sure what that means if it doesn't mean the little brother used the account. Really, rather a lot to accept. I am much inclined to agree with the comment from the blocking admin when your account Wooblz! was blocked: "Disruptive editing: a net negative for the project". [edit]
