Hello, my name is Billy and I work for TikTok's parent company ByteDance. I noticed this WikiProject has been mostly dormant since its creation, but I saw that Auric has taken steps to revive it of late, so I thought this may be a good forum to post this.

In late September I proposed redoing the lead and layout of the TikTok article to improve the article broadly (see: Talk:TikTok#Re-arranging content to comply with MOS:LEAD and MOS:LAYOUT), and since that time a few editors expressed that they largely agree with the proposal. However, no one has yet taken the initiative to implement it, and I would prefer to avoid making the changes directly due to my conflict of interest, unless I were to be explicitly given the green light to do so.

Can someone here please take a few minutes to implement the proposal (which consists almost entirely of shifting around existing content, not adding or removing any information) or give me permission to do so myself? Template:WikiProject TikTok is currently pretty much useless; it doesn't add articles to a useful category list like other project banners, nor does it have any parameters for assessing class or importance. I believe fixing those problems would tremendously help this project in terms of activity. Can someone who knows more coding than me take a crack at it?
