Wronin [ˈvrɔnin] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Polska Cerekiew, within Kędzierzyn-Koźle County, Opole Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Polska Cerekiew, 21 km (13 mi) south-west of Kędzierzyn-Koźle, and 55 km (34 mi) south of the regional capital Opole.

The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the word wrona, which means "crow".[2] In documents from 1294 and 1532 it was also mentioned under its Old Polish name Wronów.[3]
