Xiyue station (Chinese: 西约站; pinyin: Xīyuē Zhàn; Jyutping: Sai1joek3 Zaam6) is a station on Line 3 of Foshan Metro, located on Nanhai Boulevard in Foshan's Nanhai District.[1] It opened on August 23, 2024.[2][3]

History

The station was called Nanhai Square during the planning and construction phases, and in 2022 it was named Xiyue. The site began enclosure construction on August 11, 2017.[4] On March 29, 2019, the pouring of the first base plate of this station was completed.[5] On August 31, 2019, the main structure of the site was capped.[6]

Exits

There will be 4 entrances/exits, lettered A-D, which are located on the east and west sides of Nanhai Boulevard.[1] In its initial opening, the station only opened Exits B and C on the east side of Nanhai Boulevard.[7]
