Chalaza (l. mn. chalazae) – struktura anatomiczna w postaci krostkowatego wyrostka ściany ciała, opatrzonego pojedynczą szczecinką[1][2].
Chalazae występują u larw różnych owadów, np. biedronkowatych[2], złotookowatych[3], modraszkowatych[4] i pawicowatych[5].
