Élisabeth Baume-Schneider (born 24 December 1963) is a Swiss politician of the Social Democratic Party of Switzerland (SP). She is a member of the Federal Council since 2023. She was first elected as a member from the Canton of Jura on 7 December 2022.[1] Baume-Schneider was born in Saint-Imier, Switzerland.
