Benjamin Franklin ”Frank” Thorne (June 16, 1930 – March 7, 2021)[1][2] was an American comic book artist-writer. He was best known for creating the Marvel Comics character Red Sonja.
Thorne died on March 7, 2021 in Scotch Plains, New Jersey at the age of 90.[3][4]
