Gig - Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A gig is a word that bands use when talking about their live shows. The Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians defines a gig as "A term commonly applied to a musical engagement of one night’s duration only; to undertake such an engagement."^[1]
