A grand tourer is a type of sports car that mixes luxury and performance. These cars are usually coupes and generally also are made for long-distance driving.

Examples of grand tourers include Ferrari Roma, Lexus LC, Maserati GranTurismo, McLaren GT, or the Jaguar F-Type. Various car manufacturers have made grand tourers, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Lexus, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Jaguar, and various other luxury car makers. Its name comes from the Italian phrase gran turismo which became popular in the 1950s. However, the history of these cars date back to the 1950s.
