Kogi State - Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kogi state is one of the 36 states of Nigeria. The capital is Lokoja. Kogi state shares a boundary with Ekiti state and Kwara state through the west cardinal area.[1] Through the north, Kogi state shares a boundary with Federal Capital Territory. Through the northeast, it shares a boundary with Nasarawa state; and Niger state through the northwest. [2] Kogi is the only state in Nigeria that shares border ine with ten states. Through the southwest zone, it shares a border with Edo and Ondo states and Anambra and Enugu states through the southeast. Lastly, Kogi state shares a border with Benue state through the east.
