Kotka (literally eagle) is a town in Kymenlaakso, Finland.
It is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. The centre of Kotka is located at Kotkansaari island. The most famous sport team from Kotka is KTP (Kotkan Työväen Palloilijat). The KTP-team plays football and basketball.
