Moneymore is a village in Northern Ireland, in the United Kingdom. It is 5 miles (8 km) from Cookstown and 5 miles (8 km) from Magherafelt.
Population facts
[change | change source]On 29 April 2001 the United Kingdom government had a census and saw that there were 1,369 people living in Moneymore. They also saw that:
- 25.0% of the people were under 16 years old and 16.1% were over 60 years old.
- 47.9% of the people were male and 52.1% were female.
- 47.8% of the people were from a Roman Catholic background and 51.0% were from a Protestant background;
- 3.1% of people aged 16–74 had no job.[1]
