Madeleine Sophie Townley, known by her pen name Sophie Kinsella, is an English author. She is known for her best-selling Shopaholic series, The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic and Shopaholic Abroad. Her books have sold over 40 million copies in more than 60 countries.[1]
In 2022, Kinsella revealed she had been diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.[2]
