Tanauan City, Batangas, is a 1st class Component city in the province of Batangas, It borders the Calamba City to the northeast, Santo Tomas City to the east, Taal, to the west and Malvar to the southwest.

Tanauan is a chartered city among with Lipa before Calaca and Santo Tomas.
