The Times of India is an English language newspaper published in India. On November 3, 1838 the newspaper was founded as The Bombay Times and Journal of Commerce,[1] and, in 1861, it was renamed The Times of India. The newspaper has a conservative outlook.[2]
With about 2.6 million copies sold each weekday, The Times of India is the bestselling newspaper in the world. The second bestselling newspaper in the world, USA Today, sells about 2.25 million copies each weekday.
