"Toxic" is a song by American singer Britney Spears, taken as the second single from her fourth studio album In the Zone. The song is written in C Minor, according to MusicNotes.com. The song was written with Janet Jackson in mind before being offered to Australian singer Kylie Minogue, who turned down recording it.[1] It reached number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 and went to #1 in the UK, Canada, Australia, Norway, and on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Club Play and Mainstream Top 40/Pop Songs airplay charts.
